Aaron Drew, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Dr. Aaron J. Drew is the Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect in the Office of Information Technology (ASD/OIT). Dr. Drew is responsible for developing enterprise-wide strategies that address key Enterprise Information Technology Integration opportunities. To date, Dr. Drew has crafted an enterprise-wide approach to building/provisioning mobile applications (internal &external facing) and devices (government issued & Bring Your Own Device-BYOD) within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Drew's current enterprise-wide efforts involve assisting in the creation of an Enterprise Messaging Solution and an Enterprise Relationship Management platform.
As the Director of Enterprise Architecture, Dr. Drew was responsible for standing up a useful, business-driven, and data-centric Enterprise Architecture for the entire U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (OneVA Enterprise Architecture). Dr. Drew pushed the development of the Consolidated Reference Models (BRM, PRM, DRM, SRM, and TRM), to include the provisioning of the Domain Architecture artifacts such as the Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Applications Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Security Architecture, and the Strategy Architecture. Internally to VA, Dr. Drew currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Architecture & Engineering Review Board (AERB). As a representative of VA in the joint Department of Defense (DoD)/VA environment, Dr. Drew has also served as the Co-Chair for the Health Architecture Review Board. Finally, Dr. Drew is committed to bringing better coordination/collaboration among the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) Segment Architectures in addition to the Solutions Architectures underlying the VA Major Initiatives. This internal coordination is done in conjunction with his work to better sync the Health architecture and infrastructure initiatives between VA and DoD.
Dr. Drew holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Delaware, and Master's degrees in Human Resources Management and Management Information System from Marymount University and a Doctorate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland University College. He is currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Maryland University College in their Graduate School of Management & Technology. Dr. Drew previously served as an Adjunct Professor with Marymount University in their Graduate School of Business. His recent work with Hewlett Packard has been as an SOA Architect, re-architecting a customer's complete product implementation, sales and order fulfillment processes in a program intended to provide cross-channel, cross-organization sales, increasing end-to-end conversion of sales leads with projects that centralize business processes and business rules, governance and intelligence. This is a key program to the further development of the cross-channel market approach. Furthermore, the legacy credit check was given more agnostic functionality and business rules to effectively assess credit risk targeted to the actual sales, with an approach that allows new types of products and packages to be defined in the context of the credit check without build effort, resulting in a future-proof solution.

Longji Tang, FedEx
Longji Tang serves as a Senior Technical Advisor at FedEx's Information Technology Division where he has acted as a tech lead and/or architect on several critical eCommerce projects. Currently, Longji is the lead project manager for FedEx.com's Data Center Modernization project. His research focuses on software architecture and design, service-oriented architecture, service-oriented cloud computing and application, and system modeling and formalism. Prior to his tenure with FedEx, Longji worked from 1995-2000 as an Information System and Software Engineering Consultant at Caterpillar and IBM. He has published more than 20 research papers from numeric analysis to computer applications in Journal of Computational Mathematics, Acta Mathematica Scienia and other publications. After graduating from Hunan University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980, he worked as an associate research fellow at the Hunan Computing Center from 1980 to 1992. He began graduate studies at Penn State University in 1992 and graduated in 1995 with a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science & Engineering and a Master of Art degree in Applied Mathematics. Longji has undertaken his PhD studies in Software Engineering as a part-time student at the University of Texas at Dallas since June, 2002. He obtained his PhD degree in 2011.

Steve-Ross Talbot, Cognizant
Professor Steve Ross-Talbot has been involved in computational science since 1975. He has published various papers over the years in topics ranging from query optimization to user interface design to grid to distributed systems and formal methods. Ross-Talbot currently works for Cognizant Technology Solutions as the CEO of a Cognizant Capital funded venture called Qualit-e. He has a small team which focuses on the future of software development and outsourcing alongside a larger team of enterprise architects who deliver to customers. Ross-Talbot was a key member of the Open Grid Forum in 2005/2006 focusing on distributed workflow for business processes hosted in a grid – nowadays it is known as BPaaS. Recently (last year) he was invited to be one of the authors of the SOA Manifesto along with luminaries such as Thomas Erl and Grady Booch.
His current interests are centered on using formal methods to build robust distributed systems (which typify cloud based solutions and SOA) and how we innovate collaboratively with our customers. This is why WS-CDL, SAVARA, BPMN2 on the one hand and HoQ and TRIZ on the other are all close to his heart and form the basis for all that he does in both Cognizant and Pi4 Technologies. His aim is simply to contribute to move things forward and deliver software solutions faster with higher quality and reduced costs and so remove us of the linearity in global delivery of software.

As the Chief Architect and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the Department of Defense (DoD) Business Mission Area (BMA) within the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer (DCMO) Dennis E. Wisnosky was responsible for providing expert guidance and oversight in the design, development, and modification of the federated architectures supporting the Department's Business Mission Area. This role incorporated oversight of the DoD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and the corporate level systems, processes, and data standards common across the DoD. Mr. Wisnosky led the transformation of architecture-driven business systems and services development, and deployment. Key principles in DoD business transformation are its focus on data ontology - semantic web methods, Services Oriented Architecture and Cloud Computing. Among others, he received a Fed100 Award (2006) and an "Excellence in Government Leadership Award (2011) in recognition of his accomplishments.
As a visionary and entrepreneur in the private sector, for more than 25 years, Mr. Wisnosky consulted to the Government and private industry in the development of strategic and operational plans, methods and processes. As the head of his own companies, he led the development and marketing of products ranging from industrial robots and factory controls to software for Project Management, Business Process Modeling/Analysis/Optimization. He is the author of 7 books on these topics, and an internationally acclaimed writer and speaker.
Mr. Wisnosky is a Certified Enterprise Architect, a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (Robotics), a PADI certified Rescue Diver and Instrument Rated Private Pilot in Multiengine Aircraft. He and his wife, live in Naperville, Illinois. They have three daughters and nine grandchildren.
